Log-in. When you log-in to our Sites, we may collect your personal information — which means information that you provide to use that personally identifies you — like your name, email address, verification information (e.g., phone number), payment information, billing information, profile picture, or other information that can be reasonably linked to you (“Account Info”).

If you choose to login to our Services through a third-party provider (e.g., Google, Microsoft), we may collect Account Info about you from those providers, such as your name, email address, profile picture, language preference, company or organization affiliation, and other unique identifiers the third-party provider shares with LMNT.
Other locations. If you access our Services from a third-party location (e.g., a third-party website), we may collect the personal information that third party shares with us, such as your name, email, IP address, or other unique identifiers.
Authenticate. We use Account Info to authenticate you and provide access to certain areas, functionality, and features of our Services, to complete purchases you make, and to enforce our terms and policies.
Provide Services. We use personal information to deliver our Services, like using Your Content to create digital representations of speech recordings (“Digital Speech”); using your Account Info and Purchase Info to process, fulfill and deliver the Services you purchase and provide support in connection with the Services you purchase; or using strictly necessary cookies to allow you to access our Services that are required to identify irregular site behavior, prevent fraudulent activity, improve security, or allow you to use our Services.
Monitor Services. We do not take on any obligation to monitor use of our Services, but we may do so to check that Your Content or other users' content does not contain inappropriate information, like sensitive, explicit or illegal information; does not contain information that we would need to takedown for legal reasons; or that is not suitable for our Services and their intended use.
Improve Services. We may record and use personal information you provide to develop, improve, and customize LMNT services and machine learning technologies. For example, we may use Content to train machine learning models. To help with quality and improve our products, human reviewers may review, listen to, read, annotate, and process your Content. We take steps to protect your privacy as part of this process, for example by disconnecting your Content from Account Info before humans review it. Please ensure Your Content does not include information that you do not wish our human reviewers to see.
Testimonials. We may use Your Content (e.g., feedback, comments, or questions) along with your personal information (e.g., your name and company affiliation) to publish testimonials on our Sites or third-party sites, or to share with our partners and third-party affiliates.
Communications. We use personal information — like Account Info, Communication Info, and Survey Info — to communicate with you (or others you tell us to communicate with) about your account, our Services, your LMNT job application, policy changes. If you opted into any marketing or sales communications, we’ll also use your personal information to send you those optional communications that you can unsubscribe from.
Legal reasons. We may use your personal information to meet applicable laws, legal processes, or enforceable government requests.
Other reasons. We may use aggregated or de-identified information for a variety of other functions, like measuring user interest or use on various parts of our Services. Aggregated or de-identified information does not identify you.

We generally store your personal information until you decide to delete or edit it, or for as long as you remain a LMNT user in order to provide you with our Services. We may need to verify your identity before granting access to or making any changes to your personal information. If applicable law provides you the right to request access to, object to processing, delete your data, you may do so, as applicable, through controls on the Services or by contacting LMNT at email@example.com.
LMNT is based in the United States. We and our service providers may collect, process, and store information in the United States and other countries where servers that we use reside. Please be aware that we (and our service providers) may transfer, store, or access your personal information in places that may not provide equivalent levels of protection as your home country. If you use our Services in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from United States law, you agree to the transfer of your personal information to the United States and other countries outside EEA. We do try to take steps to ensure your personal information receives adequate protection in compliance with the places in which we process it.
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 or other age that is under the applicable age of consent in your state, region, or country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under the age of consent in your state, region or country please do not use our Services. If we learn we have in fact received information directly from a child, we will use that information to respond directly to that child (or their parent or legal guardian) to inform them that the child cannot use the Sites or Services, and we will subsequently delete that child’s personal information.
